Arnie Gundersen, Fairewinds Associates, Testimony to the CPUC 2017-1-27

Nuclear engineer Arnie Gundersen of Fairewinds Associates, Inc., submitted testimony January 27, 2017 on behalf of Mothers for Peace in the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Diablo Canyon Closure case. Fairewinds argues for closure of Diablo Canyon in 2019 rather than 2024.

Update 2/19/19: The Fairewinds’ report was submitted today as part of a petition, endorsed by Jane Fonda, Ed Asner, as well as numerous other celebrities, academics, and activist groups, that was sent to California Governor Gavin Newsom asking that Diablo Canyon undergo rigorous safety testing to ensure it is as safe as PG&E claims.
